I started this piece in 2002 at home in the garden, but it took until april 2003 and an exhibition deadline to finally apply the last coat of paint. This is an important work in that with it I have broken the habit of being preoccupied with 'clean' finish. The paint, all 7 layers of it, is tangible and defiantly itself. |
